I'm was planning on the ace Sunday with a for sale sign but after seeing the weather Sunday/Monday morning I might well give it a miss

Might be up for it one of the days, not really made plans yet as having building work done and have loads to sort round the house.

Pageant on Sunday, and hope the morning at least stays dry.
Ace on Saturday, finally persuaded the wife to join me.

Think you have to apply ahead for the pageant.

nah, Wembley is going to be busy, and the Ace is so close I don't get a good run, nor is there a lot to do there!

Ace was not that well attended, despite good weather,
Traffic was lighter than usual, probably all due to FA Cup phobia.
Everybody should have sussed that nobody drives to events at Wembley Stadium anymore.
Sunday was hot and dry.....until 4:15 when it rained.

Maybe theven direction you came from made a difference, but from experience everytime an event at Wembley is on, the A40, Hangar Lane gyratory and the A406 are a nightmare!

I took the Z down to Winchester instead
