You'll need a high pressure fuel pump as well, with new lines run (plus return line and a vent) as most injection systems run about 50 psi with carbs running about 6.5 psi. Pump will need power line run as well, plus cut off ideally.

New Edelbrock carb, bolt on is about $300. Efi kit mentioned is $795 plus pump (around $150) plus fuel lines, mechanical pump blank and possibly new air and fuel filters as well.

In essence, converting to efi will cost three to four times as much as a brand new carb setup, so cost probably isn't the best motivator to be honest.

Lots of other advantages as you've mentioned of course, depends what you prefer and what you can afford / justify :-) Whichever way you go, keep us posted!

I have been thinking about it, and I am leaning towards leaving it as it is - unless I can find the EFi kit really helps economy. I do like originality but not obsessed by it, but I also see little point replacing a component that is currently working well :)

This may change if I start to experience problems!
