Car Details:68 pontiac firebird coupe project car,my aim is a street friendly, lightly modified pro.touring style.
Lowered ,mild body mods,400 cu in SBC engine, Muncie 4speed, 10 bolt posi axle, disc front drum rear.
68 firebird convertible ( long term project) Stock resto/mod style ,400 pontiac th350
Will be there but have to get some tires fitted on my daily first thing as I am on a space saver spare ( never a good feeling )
Never like those " emergency " spare wheels and I don' t want to run around with no spare because the way my luck runs I'm sure to get another flat .
You would think a decent sized car like a Volvo V70 wagon would be able to carry a normal spare, and don't get me started on the joke jack ...POS .

How was the meet, any good pics from it? Weather seemed like it would pull a good crowd!

How to post youtube vids: Click on the 'youtubeHD' button at the top of the message box and in the middle of the ][ brackets that just appeared, copy and paste everything from the youtube web address that appears after the = sign i.e if this is the url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2cNqaPSHv0 just copy "K2cNqaPSHv0").

Was a good meet with plenty of interesting cars and the weather was good which is always a bonus this time of year .

It's a nice old pub and always tends to draw a big crowd in the good summer days, pays to arrive early because the parking can be a challenge if you get there too late

Well worth a visit and the roads out in that direction are good for a nice fast cruise 8-)

Good to give the car little run over the 30 odd miles of backroads from me, bit of a leg stretch for the blue beastie... and of course good to see Barry and Dave..
Nice turnout, lots of variety. Classics, yanks hotrods and few modern stuff..

Yep, it was great to see Stu and his reconstructed mistress.
And his girlfriend was also lovely.
At least we know his car is not a figment of his imagination.
