Took the car to Brands today,i put a bit more advance in the timeing an this seems to have cured the cooling as the fans now bring the temperature down in traffic.The temperature stayed at 190 all the time so well pleased to get it sorted.Got the noise test done it,s 103 db so ok for daytime track sessions

Excellent news with the temps.

103 is still pretty loud but you shoukd be ok on most 105db days, alot of tracks have drive by mics too but they usually warn to to lift at the briefing if you're nearvthe limit...

Great to hear it's running well :thumbup: Good shout on the timing - even switching between ported and full vacuum advance makes a difference to idle temps. Car is looking really great :chevy:

How to post pics: When writing a message, scroll down and use the "attach file" option. Where possible, a photo sharing service can be used such as Flickr, Imgur etc. The image location (usually ending in .jpg) can be copy and pasted between the ][ brackets that appear when you click the 'Img' button (you can find this button at the top of the message box).
