Hi guys, just purchased a 78 TypeLT. I decided to buy a gen 2 before they become too expensive!
So far it's exceeded my expectations, it's a bit lived in and needs some tlc but it's totally rust free and the motor is strong.
Looking forward to the summer, hope to get out and about and probably get to a meet or two.
John.

Hi John and welcome to the club! Great to hear you're off to a good start with your '78 :) Even better news about the no rust!
I think we still have some spaces on the Camaro Club Speedfest stand, if you would be interested in joining. It's on June 11th and there's a thread about it on the -"future events" section (with instructions on how to register).
Hope to see you there or at some other events.
Oh and err, pics please :)

How to post pics: When writing a message, scroll down and use the "attach file" option. Where possible, a photo sharing service can be used such as Flickr, Imgur etc. The image location (usually ending in .jpg) can be copy and pasted between the ][ brackets that appear when you click the 'Img' button (you can find this button at the top of the message box).

How to post youtube vids: Click on the 'youtubeHD' button at the top of the message box and in the middle of the ][ brackets that just appeared, copy and paste everything from the youtube web address that appears after the = sign i.e if this is the url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2cNqaPSHv0 just copy "K2cNqaPSHv0").

Congratulations and welcome to the club!

As a fellow gen 2 owner I hope they do go up in value!

I second the demand for pictures! :)
