Now here's the thing.
This year, New Year's Eve is the last Saturday of the month.......Ace Cafe American Cruise-in.
Which, of course, means that New Year's Day is the first Sunday of the month.....The Goat at Hertford Heath.
Now I've already stated to Oddball that I would be pushing my luck with the Mrs if I went to the Ace, not to mention what the traffic will be like.
The Goat could be a better proposition, might be just the thing to blow away the cobwebs.
So, and this is specifically aimed at Oddball and firebird68, although it applies to any of you within striking distance, what do you think about the Goat on Jan 1st? Plenty of time to think about it.
Also...King & Tinker on Dec 18th.
All subject to it not raining.
Cheers
Barry

Hey Barry,

Not even sure which part of the country I will be in, but if we are about and the weather isn't too bad then the Goat seems eminently possible :)

Hi Barry, probably The Goat for me as well.
All meets are at the mercy of the weather at this time of year but at The Goat its a good drive on nice roads and a good venue so it beats the other place and if you want food its better as well ...
On a disappointing note I paid a visit to the brake line supplier today but they have not yet got the parts, another week wasted !
Can't believe the delays and problems getting my car back on the road .
.

Dave, weather permitting, see you there.
Sorry to hear about the brake line delays, it's always the last little details that take up a disproportional amount of time.

Hi Barry,

Yeah I had a good time, and Auri had an excellent one, barely managed to fit all her presents back in the Jeep!

We are definitely back down in London (as of tonight) so providing I remember/can afford to tax the Zed and the weather is ok I will be there :)

Merry Christmas all! I've been working on the niggly things so car isn't taxed yet. I've been invited to ride shotgun though at Brooklands on New Years day in Phill's 2nd gen, is anyone going there?

I wasn't even aware that there was an event at Brooklands, how many are going to this?
