I know they don't have a very good reputation and i generally steer clear as they're often overpriced but they do sometimes have good deals (earlier i posted about their axle stands being on half price, £12 for the pair can't complain). They have some black Friday deals on from now until Monday on socket sets and their flagship 200piece socket set is down to £135. It normally hovers between £175 and £250 so i've ordered one to pick up tomorrow  .

It's Halfords Advanced range which is their professional series so comes with a lifetime warranty. As it has Halfords Advanced stamped on it, the return process usually doesn't require a receipt, it's just an on the spot swap. There is debate over the ratchets as it's a mechanism, some people have had it replaced, some not, so bit hit and miss on that one. I'm on a mechanics facebook page and often see questions about which tools people use and surprisingly the advanced sets come up a lot get really good reviews, lot of people in the trade use them (and have been for many years) and say they do a great job. Has SAE and metric sizes (apart from spanners, they are metric). I've been watching the prices for a few months and decided to bite the bullet at this price. It comes in a carry case so i will be able to put in the boot when using the Camaro to lessen my anxiety of driving outside of the driveway. Will also be getting a fire extinguisher to help with that anxiety :| Anyway, thought it was worth sharing!

Ye i see them get a good rep too, some people even rate them above snap on, which are crazy expensive.
