wanted 1st gen subframe. bare preferred as i have all new parts to go on. started to build mine last night and found that it has suffered accident damage (bugger!) and i've decided its probably better to replace than repair.....

Hiya Michael, how ya doing?? I think that Bernie Chodosh (circuit racer )had one for sale at the swap meet a little while ago, I don't think it sold. There was also one for sale on Eurodragster a few months ago too, http://www.eurodragster.com/classifieds/default.asp (Rob Holdsworth???? might be his name) maybe worth placing awanted ad, or spend a good while looking through the old ads, hope that helps....Nige

Hi Nige, thanks for the info, i already put an ad on eurodragster, hopefully that'll do the trick. If not i'll research further.....

Hi Nige, Pauls car is a firebird (twin turbo'd 555!) , are the subframes the same? coincidentally the 12 bolt thats going on my car came from Pauls car!

As far as I'm aware there are no differences, hth, cheers......Nige

Hi Michael, Are you still looking for a subframe, I am restoring a 67 ss convertible, And have a spare subframe off a 67, Tel 01443 230034 or 07922112625. P,S I am after a bootlid for a 67 if you know off one
