I've been in the U.S for a couple of weeks and just got back. Price of petrol in some places was $1.99 per gallon
£20 to fill up and got 600 mile range. I did ~2,500 miles and spent about $175 total in fuel. Crazy how different the price is. Exchange rate is awful, even though it's at ~1.29, in reality it's about 1.25 due to fees / commission etc.
Surprisingly saw less than 5 classic cars on the road whilst i was there. Loads of new Camaro's, Mustangs, Challengers and Chargers though, probably the one i saw most of was the new shaped Challenger, with Camaro's being a close 2nd. Saw loads of classics at peoples houses (in need of TLC). Drove through parts of Alabama on the normal roads instead of the highways and nearly every house had at least 1 old car in need of TLC, many houses had 4-5 old cars outside. Saw quite a few early 2nd gens just parked up / being parted out as junk!
Sorry to hear a2kmaro - been there a few times and it's not pleasant at all. Has he started to make progress finding a new place?
