Car Details:1986 Camaro, bought into Spain by me in 1993.
305 replaced by a 355, 750 Demon carb, RPM AirGap intake, Brodix heads, Hedman Hedders, 3" Flowmaster exhaust.
Wheels are Summit aluminium 5 spokes, tyres are 245 rear 225 front BF Goodrich.
B/M transmission, battery relocated to the rear, GoodMark 4" cowl steel hood.
Location:Spain East Coast
Parked the car yesterday and pushed the sifter into park.
But the back wheels were on the edge of the floor tiling and the car moved forward just a little, and I thought blocked the
park pawl in the transmission.
Usually moving the car, taking pressure off will release the park pawl but I could´nt push back because of the tiles and not
forward because it was in park.
Car up in the air, tried to move the lever at the transmission, nothing, but when I disconnected the cable it moved freely.
Reconnected cable wheels on the ground.....nope.....still no shift at the shifter.

I ended up taking the shiftercable off the car and this is the problem...... :lolno:

Can´t grumble it´s been on the car since 1996 when I bought the B/M MegaShifter.

Apparently it could have shorted on the transmission, happens when there is´nt sufficient grounding of motor/transmission to chassis.
But saying that I do have double ground cables on the motor up front, there will be a third at the trans rear later....just to be sure.
