Car Details:2002 Camaro SS 35th LE, 9300 miles from new, 6sp, T-tops, 100% stock.
Location:Melton Mowbray, east mids.
Just testing the water here. Have had the car a couple of years and only put on 1000 or so miles in that time. Certainly one of the best/lowest milage 4th gens in the UK. LS1, 6sp man box, 35LE package (all 2002s come with an anniversary dash plaque, but only the full 35LE package cars come with the 35LE embroided two tone lether, stripes, 35LE badges, trophy mat, etc. All were red)
Just over 3200 35LEs were made. The first 3000 went to the US market, the remainder were designated to the Canadian market. This car is one of two designated to the canadian market that were shipped to the UK new by "American Car Imports". Due to the high cost at the time (£35K in the UK) compared to the base models they both remained on the forecourt until 2004!, when this car was first registered.
I have some old Mots and owners pack etc., also 35LE brochure and some magazines from the time that reviewed this model.
The 2002 was the last year of manufacture of the Camaro before production stopped for 8 years. It was the last year ever of a live axle Camaro.
Condition is very good as you would expect, there a couple of tiny stone chips, and other imperfections, but overall condition of the car is more like that of a 2 year old vehicle, not one that is 14 years old, indeed, amazingly, the interior still has a new car smell about it. Currently fitted with corvette centre caps, I have the correct centre caps but don't fit them due to them being so rare now that they fetch $400-500 a set! The correct caps will of course come with the car too.
You can't bring over a low mileage 35LE for this money, since the £ dropped it would be difficult to source and ship such a vehicle for sensible money.
I have only used for car shows and the occasional sunny day. Always garaged, no modifications, save for an 8" aerial mast to replace the factory one (still have) that is about a yard long, and I have also had a "skip ship eliminator" fitted (ask if you don't know)
The engine light comes on but it is only for the fuel tank vacuum reading, a new filler cap sometimes clears this up, otherwise it is a sensor or valve on the tank. It dosn't affect the vehicle in any way.
Serious enquiries only, as I said, just testing the water. I do have another project though, and the space in my workshop would be welcome.

Will be listing on eBay for £16500 shortly, message me for pics, I have loads, there are some on here already on the other threads.

Well, another show season is over and my Camaro is up for sale again! Asking price is £15,500 but I will offer a substantial discount to any cash buyer who can buy quickly (like by the end of Sep). This is due to me having another opportunity that I would like to follow up, however if I am to do so I must act fast.
Also available, and currently on the car, is the very good drag racing number plate E16HTS. Obviously this is not a cheap plate, but if a quick cash buyer were to make a sensible offer for the plate and the car then we could perhaps do a deal.
