Car Details:Camaro SS V8
Hi
I'm new to the forum and hoping someone out there can help me with my camaro?

I've a 2013 6.2 ss. I've noticed a little wet patch on the boot carpet. I traced it back and have noticed a tear in the seal of the hood. When opening the roof I stopped it at half point and canot see where the seal has ripped. It actually looks like a bolt has caught over time whilst operating the hood.

The rest of the hood is perfectly fine and the car is amazing. I went to autoglass to see if they would change the seal, but they crapped out and wanted nothing to do with it.

Anybody any ideas how or where to replace the seal etc?

I live in the north west, but will get it fixed anywhere?

It's a shame Bauer Millet don't exist anymore in Manchester, as this is there kind of thing... I'd go to a dedicated convertible roof specialist place personally

What material is? If it's rubber i would be tempted to try a compound designed to work with this type of application (hardens so it's non sticky, but remains flexible).

How to post pics: When writing a message, scroll down and use the "attach file" option. Where possible, a photo sharing service can be used such as Flickr, Imgur etc. The image location (usually ending in .jpg) can be copy and pasted between the ][ brackets that appear when you click the 'Img' button (you can find this button at the top of the message box).

How to post youtube vids: Click on the 'youtubeHD' button at the top of the message box and in the middle of the ][ brackets that just appeared, copy and paste everything from the youtube web address that appears after the = sign i.e if this is the url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2cNqaPSHv0 just copy "K2cNqaPSHv0").

I'll try some sort of compound first to see if it cures the split. Other than that, I'll look for a roof specialist place. I can't find anything or anyone yet though.
But I appreciate the replies cheers
