I've fixed the clutch by adjusting the length of the pushrod, hopefully this will give enough travel on the master cylinder to ensure the clutch releases fully.

I was hoping to get the engine and transmission installed today but I got rained off after only a couple of hours work. But I did get the front bumper and core support removed, the transmission tunnel cut and the wiper motor reinstalled so everything is prepared ready to lift it in.

Should be able to get it in there tomorrow if I don't go racing.

Today went reasonably well... I should have been racing at Santa Pod, but due to the weather forecast gave it a miss. Turned out the weather was OK so I missed a race session. Never mind!

Instead I thought I'd get some of the big stuff done on these cars.

Engine and transmission installed, headers fitted, some of the wiring hooked up. Transmission cross member and propshaft done. Core support refitted, radiator, fan and cowl all done too.

Finished servicing the carb and got the new rocker covers installed tonight. Hopefully get the rest of the wiring and plumbing done this week and then I just have some final assembly to do.

Fitted at AC delete and blower motor today - a pain of a job as the inner fender has to come out, and they aren't easy to get out...

Also got the front bumper and lights etc re-fitted. There's just a few bits to finish off under the hood now, mainly just interior work to do.
