Hey guys,

Im new to the classic world but always had a soft spot for the 60's mustang and Camaros ever since I saw them roaring about when I lived in Australia. People seemed to use them as daily's out there :)

I really am torn between the two and wondering if anyone can persuade me to choose the Camaro over the Mustang?

Ive also seen one 67 on the bay and wondering if anyone can shed some light on it as not overly convinced by the ad.....

Hello and welcome! !!!

The Camaro is generally considered a better drivers car than the Mustang and certainly is cheaper to tune if you wanted to go down that route in the future.

The car in the ad looks very good, but something in the description doesn't ring true..
Worth taking a knowledgeable person along to view if seriously interested..

Howdy, welcome!

I'd be obviously biased towards the Camaro, they've generally looked much better over the years than their Mustang counterpart [71-04 Mustangs look hideous in my opinion]. Although I'm not much of a ford fan at all; I did turn to the dark side once, bought a Mondeo at a time of need and after 3 months and at 55k the injectors went.

I bought a 69 Camaro last year, and if its the sort of thing your into I'd recommend anyone to just go for it! If your can source something with solid straight body panels and floors your'e onto a winner. Everything else is very bolt on/bolt off with some patience and a spare set of hands if you can get someone.

That car near seems a too good to be true price. But the seller seems to have a good rep as an eBay seller; previous feedback on selling history shows he's sold a fair bit of old UK/US Ford and Chevy bits over past few years, so seems legit enough. Id be looking into paying a visit if I my garage wasn't already full. Just make sure there isn't finance sitting on the car that someone has decided to stop paying after off loading it!
