Happy with your purchase then lee
Love your description about the headlining Ginger snow
As for the underside I too had a bit of dread 20yrs ago !!
As I put my 71dodgecharger on the 4poster and got under it thinking it was going to be bad only to find it too looked like a 10 year old uk car
Do you have any car shows lined up ??
The headlining is knackered I can live with the colour but when you get out of the car you have ginger dandruff.
overall very pleased with the car just glad its not a rot box Ive had my fill of welding up old scrapheaps apart from the front bumper the paint is not bad not show quality but certainly presentable the only bad bit is on the roof where the Ttops have caught the roof, but a nice local repair should blend in nicely.

I plan to join the "Tyneside American Car Club" and get to some shows. in fact there is a one in my home town Seaham on Sat dont think I will have time to sort MOT by then

Car Details:1986 Camaro, bought into Spain by me in 1993.
305 replaced by a 355, 750 Demon carb, RPM AirGap intake, Brodix heads, Hedman Hedders, 3" Flowmaster exhaust.
Wheels are Summit aluminium 5 spokes, tyres are 245 rear 225 front BF Goodrich.
B/M transmission, battery relocated to the rear, GoodMark 4" cowl steel hood.
Location:Spain East Coast
One day the material on my headliner came unglued, ended up wearing it like a hat.
I took it out, stripped it off and recovered it.
My fix has lasted longer than the original.

so easy enough to recover? I take it its material glued on to a compressed base material bit like modern cars?

The biggest pain is removing all the trim to get it out and you must be careful the headliner splits easy.
When I had the material off I reinforced the dodgy parts of the headliner with denim spray glued to the topside.
When you do the material you need a helper to lay the new material down, start one end, helper holds the material up and move to the other smoothing it down side to side preventing "bubbles".

I thought I had pics of mine but can´t find them, or my mind is playing tricks. :lolno:

not looking forward to painting the front bumper the whole nose is the same there is a awful lot of paint to remove and to make matters worse several layers are nice chewy paint clogging up the da discs and as far as I know there aren't any paint strippers that wont destroy the plastic.

I'd get to scratching and sanding.
