Car Details:1986 Camaro, bought into Spain by me in 1993.
305 replaced by a 355, 750 Demon carb, RPM AirGap intake, Brodix heads, Hedman Hedders, 3" Flowmaster exhaust.
Wheels are Summit aluminium 5 spokes, tyres are 245 rear 225 front BF Goodrich.
B/M transmission, battery relocated to the rear, GoodMark 4" cowl steel hood.
Location:Spain East Coast
The first headers I bought were Edelbrock, with the air tube fittings, they just were´nt a decent gauge and got holes in them.

Now I have Hedman headers and Y pipe, not too expensive either.

You have to admit the Y pipe is in a nasty place, gets all the stones off the front wheel.

I´m more than content with mine, they do need painting again but there are no signs of rust.

Is your Y pipe rusting from the inside out, maybe it´s condensation from the motor ?

Possible header choices.

I think most of these will require you to fabricate a means to connect to your existing exhaust.

Outside in, I'm a fan of stainless steel. Had it on my Capri and supra and never had a problem. Car has no exhaust as it has to have a custom made one due to the lpg tank fitted. So don't care for a y pipe as such.

Will have a proper look through it tonight, Cheers. If anyone in the uk has some decent ones let me know folks!

I´d like stainless or ceramic coated but that is all quite expensive.
