If it's any help, i've found a few suppliers in the UK that sell 1/2 NPT to AN, probably quicker and cheaper than going via U.S?

Also Earls in Silverstone carry loads of fittings, helpful bunch too. They made a flexible line with fittings so that i could relocate an oil pressure sender on the 350 (was too big to fit under the distributor).

I´m told aluminium to aluminium needs a lubricant or thread sealer..fair enough.
The instructions telling me not to use sealer assumed I was using brass fittings, which
need no sealer or lubricant.

The threads are tapered and mine only entered a few threads so something is at fault right there.

On 1/2" NPT you'd expect maybe 2 or 3 thread engagement before finger tight, then 1 turn with a spanner to seal

I´ve ordered up a 1/2"NPT tap, going to try and start over.

Has the tap arrived? If so, how's it looking?

The tap finally arrived yesterday.
I tapped the holes out, but the 1/2 to -6 adapters did´nt go in, thread and a half.....

Then I found I had two 1/2 to -10 adapters, which went in no problem.....duh !!

Another remote mount and two adapters have been ordered, this time on Summit´s advice.
