Anyone else a fan? Just watched last nights episode and I'm dumbstruck, I'm not a particular rat rod fan but to say he knocked the ball out of the park is an understatement, anyone else catch it?

The Train inspired rat rod?

Yeah I saw that one and thought it was pretty epic, there is no way you can see that car and not either be impressed or scared! The stuff they create is really out there, but then he does charge an absolute fortune!

I also try and watch the following American shows if the wife isn't in:

- Counts Customs
- Desert Valley Car Kings
- Chasing Cars
- Chasing Classic Cars
- Overhaulin

I think that is all of them....

Bit of fuzz Townsend? I also love watching fast n loud, I know is he is a bit of a tool but a great showman and fun to watch, seen them from the beginning where they were in a little tin workshop, apparently he gets 50k an episode

Damn, I am in the wrong profession!

Yeah I watch a few from the UK if I can too:

- Car SOS
- Wheeler Dealers
- Top Gear
- Fifth Gear
- Classic Car Show

But not Pimp My Ride! I loved the American version but the UK version was just cringeworthy

The guy who made it or hosted it?

I loved the American Pimp my Ride, the host Xibit was a laugh, the crew the garage (both of them) were all characters, and of course the cars were often better, and certainly the customisation were more outlandish.

Then the UK version, was half a dozen guys with beards and a woman, sitting round a table scrathing chins and re-painting a Morris Minor.. Plus the host, goddam Tim Westwood, one of the most annoying f***wits ever!

What was the name of the guy that did the interiors on the U.S one? He was a character and a half, always made me laugh with some of the stuff he said "it's too many shiny". Watched 1 episode of the UK one, that was more than enough lol.

The interior guy was Ish Jimenez, but frankly all of them made me laugh, Mad Mike, Big Dane and of course Xzibit who seemed far too happy to be a rapper!

I think it was Jamie who was the "chief car wrecker" , his claim to fame as a TVR he glued most of halfords accessories onto and sprayed gold, the hot hatch brigade lapped it but I felt the need to bleach my eyes after seeing it at santapod, I really have no idea where Tim Westwood appeared from,50 year old son of a vicar and allegedly a "top DJ" in the underground rave scene, I was there from the beginning and never hear of the dipshit. Probably one of the most annoying to presenters ever and didn't help one little bit with the shows popularity

He's retired / semi retired now but used to host a rap show on Radio 1 on Saturday nights for about a decade or two (same sort of run as Chris Moyles had) which is where he gained popularity. I think he has a show now on Radio 1 Extra. He used to have all the big guests on his show, Snoop Dogg etc. so he's built up quite a reputation, still annoying as f*ck though. The guy who's replaced him is twice as bad - young guy who sounds twice as annoying (typikal youf ov today init blud).

Haha, that sounds like it happened around the time when Halfords started to bring in the RipSpeed stuff after having seen the potential market after the first fast and the furious movie. They seemed to have gotten rid of all of that stuff now, sticking with aftermarket stereos and air vent grills.
