Are there any suppliers of the Flowmaster Super 44s in the UK? A quick Google search shows them to be quite thin on the ground!

I went with a Pypes system on mine. Long tube Hedman headers into a complete 2.5" system with X-pipe and Street Pro Mufflers.
Not too loud at idle/low speed, a nice V8 rumble, but with a decent roar when you mash the pedal!

You could try browsing at Summit, then order through Langy's Rod Shop.

Yep that will be the most cost effective way.

I got a bit of bargain on mine as i found a pair at a swap meet for £110 brand new in box. Looking at Summit, the super 10's are $75 each http://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/f ... /overview/ Langys rod shop would charge £150 total for the pair, that includes vat, import etc. If you can pick up from watford then no extra cost but if you needed to have them delivered, there'd just be an extra delivery charge on there, imagine it would be about £10-20.

I wouldn't be too worried about the X / H pipe as it wouldn't make too much of a noticeable difference, you'd really have to listen out for it. It works to soften the sound a bit, the main difference will be on the performance side, as you get the scavenging effect helping pull the exhaust gases out. Headers will probably make the biggest difference. Phill on here upgraded from small bore to bigger bore headers, same exhaust system other than that, and it sounds now a lot beefier.

Let us know when you've taken a good look at the exhaust and know what's going on with it size wise etc.

It's the 'best of' album (I don't get a lot of time to listen to my own music!), but it does include a lot of pre 92 stuff

I have to admit, I got mine from Summit. Couldn't find any suppliers of offset ones in the UK, but could find 'straight through' ones:

Only UK supplier I found was Demon Tweeks, but they only listed the 40 and the 50. And without offset pipes. I wanted the 44 with offset.

You could ask mark at wasp? I decided to save a few quid and order direct from rock auto and ended up with a dud part, they aren't interested in how much duty,tax and postage you paid when you return so when you make a return as the goods are damaged or faulty you are expected to pay the return postage in addition to the postage you already paid(non refundable) and then pay postage and duty again on the replacement parts, I ended up about £300 out of pocket ! If you order through a uk supplier or get them to import the goods for you it may cost a few quid more but if it goes tits up they are the ones who bear the brunt of the financial loss not you
Ricks camaros and also jegs are worth a look if you are going to import yourself

I also noticed with rock auto on a lot of their products you tick the "include vat" box on the order sheet and then you also get the pleasure of paying vat on the vat you already paid when you get the goods here, I'm no tax expert but that sounds wrong to me

Thanks. I think I am decided on getting the Super 44s so likely will need to order from USA or as suggested through one of the companies you guys have mentioned.

I was away all weekend so not had chance to take a look at my pipe size, though I assume I will also need the 'offset' style muffler (i will of course check!)

I think using one of the companies you have all mentioned might be the way forward. Watford is only 20 mins from me so that will be my first choice.

Whatever you decide to do check your prices, us automotive wanted hundreds of pounds for a water pump that I got for 1/3 of their price at real steel
