Seems to be renewal season! I wonder if they are treating the 4th gen as a non classic car then? Flux are telling me that i can only park the NCB with them, it won't contribute to it. Also can't get 3rd party on another vehicle with the policy.

Will try out brentacre, thanks for the link.

Aplan said they could do £315, which includes full breakdown (home start + European cover). I currently have breakdown with GEM for £90 per year so going combined with Aplan would be about £15 cheaper. Still the same policy, parked NCB and no driving of another vehicle. I've told them i would pay extra for that option, but they said the underwrites wouldn't offer it. Odd, i don't understand why.

Just checked the policy and its a normal private car policy with kgm which I suppose is why I get the other car policy, I used to find it worked out cheaper with the 3rd gen to add a nitrous kit then it fell under the "modified" criteria rather than straight classic. I thought imported cars were classed as classics after ten years. I have full no claims on my other car and am building up ncb separately on this one

I've just arranged my policy with Brentacre. £255 fully comp, 5000 miles, all the mods declared, £100 excess, and breakdown included. Very friendly and knowledgable staff too. :) Highly recommended.

Oh, and they are currently insuring Red Victor... so if they can insure that, our cars are nothing! Lol

That's pretty good, you've got quite a bit modified on yours too!
