As you may be aware, we almost lost the site last week. I moved the site to keep it alive and i can continue to do so if we are able to group together and get some funding to cover the annual cost of the site
We would like everyone to try and make a small contribution to help keep the site costs covered. Any donation above £1 is welcome. If you donate £3 or more, you will receive a Camaro Club sticker (it has the old website address on the bottom, hope that isn't an issue). Yep, it's the rum drink combo, followed by the famous route in the U.S, followed by one of the oldest email address endings. I put the email as an image, otherwise it gets picked up by spammers. If we raise more than needed, it will go into next years site hosting costs. All of the money goes to the cost of the site and that's it. It doesn't go to anyone in the club, it goes straight to the hosting cost and no where else. I've heard some clubs even bought a club vehicle from the membership fees

I was going to add paypal donate button that you can click straight in here which would be super simple, but they take fees for donations - 2.9% + 25p

A few changes worth noting:
1) There is a new website address as you may know from being able to read this
2) We have a better hosting plan that allows for more bandwidth and...
3) Picture uploads! Yes, you can now upload pics! No more faffing with external sites. When posting, simply click the "add attachment" part and go from there. Pictures should be a max of 2.3MB. You can still use photobucket etc. and if you can it does help - we still have to be a bit conscious of space and bandwidth.
4) Moved the events section to the top of the page. Seems to be something that came up in several conversations, so let's keep that part buzzing and attend anywhere we can. I'll be adding some dates for some get togethers for the club
5) Cars for sale section is now free to post in. If you're a trader we would like a donation of £5 but private sellers can create their own adverts.
6) Few small updates to the forum functionality i.e. on the right hand side you now see the topic name that has been most recently posted in, as well as the author.
7) You also get a notification appear on the top left when someone replies to a thread you posted in.

How to post pics: When writing a message, scroll down and use the "attach file" option. Where possible, a photo sharing service can be used such as Flickr, Imgur etc. The image location (usually ending in .jpg) can be copy and pasted between the ][ brackets that appear when you click the 'Img' button (you can find this button at the top of the message box).
How to post youtube vids: Click on the 'youtubeHD' button at the top of the message box and in the middle of the ][ brackets that just appeared, copy and paste everything from the youtube web address that appears after the = sign i.e if this is the url:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2cNqaPSHv0 just copy "K2cNqaPSHv0").
