Hi Everyone.

I am looking for floor pans or floor for a 70-73
. or anything else for that matter.

Been on line & looked at all the usual suppliers in USA etc, just wondering if I can get anything already here.

Help or advice would be appreciated, Thanks!

Hiya,

May be worth trying places like US Automotive, US Auto Parts, Partsorama / John Woolfe racing, Top Speed Automotive, State side classics (something along those lines).

If not, be worth looking at NPD (National Parts Depot) as they carry sheet metal (but are in the U.S so be wary of postage on those types of items, though NPD tend to be ok with oversized shipping). May be worth trying somewhere like STS imports or Langys Rod Shop ... they both bring in weekly containers from the U.S so you ship it to their U.S address and they bring it in.

Where possible, a photo sharing service can be used such as Flickr, Imgur etc. The image location (usually ending in .jpg) can be copy and pasted between the ][ brackets that appear when you click the 'Img' button (you can find this button at the top of the message box).

How to post youtube vids: Click on the 'youtubeHD' button at the top of the message box and in the middle of the ][ brackets that just appeared, copy and paste everything from the youtube web address that appears after the = sign i.e if this is the url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2cNqaPSHv0 just copy "K2cNqaPSHv0").

Just remember that very very few companies actually make body panels in the USA, most suppliers import their panels from Taiwan :wall:
May be worth contacting the manufacturer directly and see if he has existing commercial customers in the UK or Europe.

I randomly came across a listing from Eastwood earlier for a 70-74 FULL floor pan. $649 i think, believe it's from Goodmark. You can give Steve Lang at Langys Rod shop (or PM me and i'll send you his details) a shout. He does $ for £. In other words, if it's $649 you give him £649 and it'll be here in a week, customs, VAT etc. paid (all included in the £649 you pay him). You then just have to pay a courier from Heathrow-ish area (where he's based) to yours (or if you're near, pick it up for free). He said if it's oversized and needs to come by ship (which that floorpan would) it would be less than $ to £, so cheaper than £649. He's a Summit dealer too, so you can send him the Summit link and he'll take care of the rest. Shipping takes usually 3 weeks i think vs. 1 week or so for normal bits.

That's great to hear, glad it's sorted :) I made the mistake once of buying some over axle exhausts overseas without being quoted for shipping. It hurts lol. Let us know how much you end up paying to get it to your door. I'm looking at a set of subframe connectors next year and in the meantime putting together a list of oversized parts with a friend who lives nearby and then placing one order.
