4.8 V8, is it a Chevy engine?
De-stroked maybe?
Or am I showing my ignorance of Camaro engine cubes?
Unlikely.. 305 - 5 litre was the norm, unless it's had an engine swap to something odd.
The original first Chevy V8 in 1955 was 265i, or 4.3 litres, bigger bore became 283 ci (4.7 litres) in 1957.. then grew to 327 with bigger bore and stroke in 1962, then 350 in 1967 etc...... Don't think 4.8 litre is easily attainable without an overboard 283..(sort of pointless)
