Looking good, love the colour scheme. Are you not going to mod the rear end as well ?, to remove the rear bumper

I've got the early rear bumper, but then I should really do the lights at the same time, and if you go down that avenue you end up thinking ....."shall I do the rear window too"..... And then you realise how much its all going to cost!
As it is, as a project, its losing momentum and it's really just sat there neglected at the moment. Being a realist, it'll probably either get sold as is, or I might just put it into the garage to get it MOT'd and then see how I feel. The problem is that I have too many projects and not enough time to work on them all!

I had heard it 'might' be for sale...

"Might" be for sale is about right - I'm not actively selling it - However should someone come knocking on my door with a fistfull of cash shouting "Take my money" - then I'd consider it.

It's a shame - However after as many projects as I've had over the years, I have now come to a point where I know when something is just going to sit there or not.

Can't beat the colour purple especially when in combination with black

Well, The wife and I have decided to have an extension put on the house, so I'm going to need my drive back - So looks like this is now up for sale
I'll put together a for sale ad in the near future, but if you know anyone that is in the market for a rebuilt, reconditioned 2nd Gen for sub £8k - Please point them in my direction

Sorry to hear that you've got to sell it Hopefully a small scratch card lotto win may change the fate of it and you can continue to enjoy it! It looks very tidy. Have you had some good fun with it?

How to post pics: When writing a message, scroll down and use the "attach file" option. Where possible, a photo sharing service can be used such as Flickr, Imgur etc. The image location (usually ending in .jpg) can be copy and pasted between the ][ brackets that appear when you click the 'Img' button (you can find this button at the top of the message box).

How to post youtube vids: Click on the 'youtubeHD' button at the top of the message box and in the middle of the ][ brackets that just appeared, copy and paste everything from the youtube web address that appears after the = sign i.e if this is the url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2cNqaPSHv0 just copy "K2cNqaPSHv0").
