Any of you been to SpeedFest before?
If so any advice on grandstands etc. would be helpful as they vary hugely in price.
I know the driver gets in free, but if you bring a carload (in a Camaro?), this could be a tad expensive.

Quite a few of us been the last 2 years..

Driver gets in free, but passengers need to pay, info on their website says £21 - Sunday, £14 - Saturday, £26 whole weekend.
I think you can pre book grandstands from £5 - £10 depending on which one, but I personally don't think it's worth it, as walking round the site viewing from different positions, taking in the sites, clubstands and displays is more fun.

Don't forget to email to pre register, and say your with this club to get a stand position - americanspeedfest@msv.com

Cheers Stu - yep we went last year and setup a club stand and are doing the same thing again. Email the address Stu provided, let them know your name, address (so they can send you a ticket) and car and that you're with the Classic Camaro Club and that you'll be on the club stand. They'll do the rest for you.

We setup a mini convoy last year, stopping at some service stations to gather the group. We need to be in there by 9am (traffic does get a bit heavy right by the entrance) at the latest i think otherwise you can only park in the visitor parking and not the main club area.

As Stu says, plenty to see and do by walking around, lots of grass areas to be on so you should be ok without a grandstand ticket if joining the club stand.

How to post pics: When writing a message, scroll down and use the "attach file" option. Where possible, a photo sharing service can be used such as Flickr, Imgur etc. The image location (usually ending in .jpg) can be copy and pasted between the ][ brackets that appear when you click the 'Img' button (you can find this button at the top of the message box).

How to post youtube vids: Click on the 'youtubeHD' button at the top of the message box and in the middle of the ][ brackets that just appeared, copy and paste everything from the youtube web address that appears after the = sign i.e if this is the url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2cNqaPSHv0 just copy "K2cNqaPSHv0").
