If the lights aren't on normal dipped beam I don't think you can use full beam.

I usually just move the switch from low beam to side lights if I want to flash someone. Seems to have the same effect.

ooh err sir ;)

I know that on the 3rd gen firebird with pop up lights you can only flash the hi beams if the main lights are on, even with the marker lights on you can't flash the hi beams. I think the wiring logic is that you have to have the marker lights on in order for the other parts of the circuit to function on our cars.

How to post pics: When writing a message, scroll down and use the "attach file" option. Where possible, a photo sharing service can be used such as Flickr, Imgur etc. The image location (usually ending in .jpg) can be copy and pasted between the ][ brackets that appear when you click the 'Img' button (you can find this button at the top of the message box).

How to post youtube vids: Click on the 'youtubeHD' button at the top of the message box and in the middle of the ][ brackets that just appeared, copy and paste everything from the youtube web address that appears after the = sign i.e if this is the url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2cNqaPSHv0 just copy "K2cNqaPSHv0").

same as dunc here, just put main lights on from sidelights as full beam wont work unless dip is on, my lights actaully alternate when you flash, dip off main on, vice versa
