Received this email recently thought it was worthwhile sharing:

Good morning,

We thought we would get in touch to let you know that a new classic car TV series begins on Channel 5 this Thursday, February 5th at 7pm.

Presented by Quentin Willson and Jodie Kidd, The Classic Car Show is 13 x one-hour series that celebrates the world of classic cars like no show before it, featuring incredible historic cars, glamorous locations and famous faces.

The first episode sees Quentin Willson head to California to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Ford Mustang, while Jodie Kidd gets behind the wheel of the Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder. It’s not all high-end cars though, as Alex Riley reveals his love for the Triumph TR7 in a regular slot that will look into bargain £5,000 classics.

The rest of the series will feature cars as varied as the Rolls Royce Corniche, Ford GT40, Jaguar E-type and even Keith Richards’ Ferrari 246 Dino. Celebrity appearances will come from Derek Bell and Stirling Moss while the show’s resident racing driver will be putting ten classic cars through their paces on the track.

Here’s the trailer to whet your appetite:

As a car enthusiast, we would love it if you tuned in on Thursday and we’d love it if you could tell all your members about the show. What’s more, thanks to a fantastic collaboration with Aston Martin, one lucky viewer of The Classic Car Show will be able to drive away in a bespoke Aston Martin V8 Vantage at the end of the series.

Many thanks and hope you enjoy the show,
