The Camaro Club (UK)

I've read some very pleasing comments for a cover from these people http://www.specialisedcovers.com/car-covers.html via Pistonheads and other forums. Over twice as much than the eBay item I bought but hopefully it'll do a very good job, more importantly a better one!

...and here it is. Took four weeks to make and deliver. Not cheap at £300.00 either. I did try a Stormsheild cover beforehand at half the cost. Sadly the fitting wasn't quite right and it's inner most layer took paint off the car due to being abrasive.

This one from Specialised Car Covers seems to be doing the job quite well so far. The fit is spot on, properly tailored exactly to the Camaro s contours. Thankfully there's four pairs of strapping points, strong gales aren't a problem as proved recently. The inner layer has a fleecey like lining, avoiding scratching or inadvertent removal of my paintwork.

Sadly moisture and condensation are unavoidable when using a car cover, especially when cold temperatures fluctuate. The breathable layers do work well though, after a day or so, depending on temperature the paintwork becomes dry again.
