Thanks chap for your comments.

I had the hood glassed up by a bloke who repairs boats for a living.

It's only a single skin and will be dzus fastened to the car.

If you have a company local that repairs boats give them a call.

I still have the mould so if I damage this hood I can make another one..

If I could have made it lower I would have done. It clears the pro charger.

Cheers

Jay

Is there any intention to make is road Legal? I have memories of jim wheelans blown trans am in the early eighties that they banned him from driving on the road because "3 feet of polished steel sticking out of your bonnet is an obstruction to your vision sir" , looks like you'll need a camera on the roof and a screen to see where you are going
Is it an LS engine or an LT1? It's certainly going to turn a few heads when it's done :-)

I've got no problem seeing over the hood, It does sweep back towards the screen which helps.

This is going to be MOT'ed and driven on the street!

Engine is traditional Small Block Chevy, all after market parts based around a Dart Block, Heads etc. All I'm saying is its over 400 Cubes

Its got a Powerglide transmission with a 10" Convertor and the rear end is a Moser 9" Ford with 35 Spline shafts Detroit Locker.

Jayce

Awesome! Any finish date in mind? TBH I cant see the front of my 4th gen from the drivers seat without a big hump so I suppose it makes little difference, what sort of 1/4 mile times are you aiming for?
