Due to being complete idiot, travelled down the m'way on Sunday without locking the T top. I can now inform you that nothing is noticeable at 70, but at 80, it makes a bid for freedom.

On positive side, my panic attempt to hold onto the panel meant that it didn't end up in the screen of the car behind, and I should avoid a charge. On the negative side, I ended up holding a bend frame and covered in shattered glass.

So
a) anybody got spare T tops?
b) Am I right in thinking ALL 4th Gen (lT/LS, Camaro/Firebird) are the same.
c) do I need to replace both to get a match?

Oh f*ck!

Can't believe the glass shattered?

Think they are all the same. You could do with finding someone whos breaking a V6 with T tops. Probably won't want too much for one.

definitely shattered..

To be honest I'm glad it did. I wouldn't have held onto it once it caught the air, and I hate to think what damage it could have done. through a windscreen or into a motorcyclist face - could have been too horrible.

I'll take a few more photos later, but at the time I had to get home, get the car vaguely watertight and then get back on the road so I was only fairly late for lunch rather than early for supper.

Eeeek ! I would get someone to measure up a 3rd gen glass if possible , I wouldn't think they redesigned the glass and they would probably be a lot more common than a 4th gen? Rocky is 2 mins drive from me and breaks 3rd gens so would probably have one about,if you do find someone who is breaking a 4th gen though I could do with the passenger side sun visor :chevy:

I don´t like sunroofs and I don´t like T tops.

Holes in the roof are bad news, my Monza sunroof leaked from new.
