I'm looking to change my TH350 over for a 700R4 in my 1977 Camaro (Bumblebee needs more gears)
I'm doing quite a few miles now and would like to get an overdrive transmission to help with the economy  issues.
Does anybody have any of the parts i need or have done this conversion and can advise all the parts I need to complete the swop.

Thanks Si

Flak monkey is doing a swap to a 4L80, so his 700R4 he put in his 2nd gen might be up for grabs... ?

Just saw Rocky has some new stock, and breaking a 3rd gen Camaro and Firebird, which will likely both have 700r4.. no idea if either have trans available

Just spotted this on NastyZ28.. If the seller will ship to the UK, it's a great deal..

If you can find a later 30 spline one in the UK - and they do come up for £150-200 regularly - I can build you a decent spec one (500hp/500lbft rated) using that core for around £750

That's good price. Before i went manual about 5 years ago, Alders quoted me about 2k for a built 700r4.
