As the topic states I'm looking for a good quote.

The car is 1979 Z28. I'm 39 with six points but maximum no claims. I'm collecting the car tomorrow so ideally I'd like to arrange a policy ASAP.

Any ideas??

Thanks :)

I had quite a good quote from http://www.rhclassicinsurance.co.uk/ on the '79 Camaro, about £135 or £175 can't remember which. Fibreglass hood and after market exhaust and wheels declared.

Chevy Stu also put together a list on a recent thread: http://www.classiccamaroclubuk.com/phpB ... =18&t=3259

I'm with Adrian Flux at the moment on an 87 Trans Am, about £220 IIRC.

How to post pics: When writing a message, scroll down and use the "attach file" option. Where possible, a photo sharing service can be used such as Flickr, Imgur etc. The image location (usually ending in .jpg) can be copy and pasted between the ][ brackets that appear when you click the 'Img' button (you can find this button at the top of the message box).

How to post youtube vids: Click on the 'youtubeHD' button at the top of the message box and in the middle of the ][ brackets that just appeared, copy and paste everything from the youtube web address that appears after the = sign i.e if this is the url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2cNqaPSHv0 just copy "K2cNqaPSHv0").

Best bet is to pop to the sweetie shop and grab a copy of American car world or classic American, loads of companies advertise in them

Went with Classicline eventually. I think I got a pretty good deal, two hundred quid all in considering I've six points and the car runs a ZZ4.

Thanks for pointing me in the tight direction, appreciated :)
