Car Details:1986 Camaro, bought into Spain by me in 1993.
305 replaced by a 355, 750 Demon carb, RPM AirGap intake, Brodix heads, Hedman Hedders, 3" Flowmaster exhaust.
Wheels are Summit aluminium 5 spokes, tyres are 245 rear 225 front BF Goodrich.
B/M transmission, battery relocated to the rear, GoodMark 4" cowl steel hood.
Location:Spain East Coast
Here in Spain the ITV, is modelled on the TüV so I been up against their system.
Bigger wheels/tyres in the rear, shaved door handles, titchy diameter steering wheel, cowl induction bonnet....
they´ve never said anything about the 3" Flowmaster exhaust. :D

As far as they know the mods were done before I imported it and it was imported from the UK as personal belongings.

When the ITV station where I imported the car told me to replace the doors with ones with handles I came to the
ITV station here in town which had just opened up.
They are far more tolerant and the younger guys are pleased to see the car.

500 €uros sounds like a good deal, could you fit it yourself ?

Fitting the exhaust is not a problem, I was/am a qualified machanic and used to turn spammers all the time, that was until I studied as a mechanicle engineer. So I am a bit rusty but most if not all things I will do myself. I will be overhauling the gearbox over the winter months and I can see that being a test of my patience lol

I have a local TUV garage here and I know it will pass there , well I hope it will and if they say the exhaust is to loud there is always the old trick of prillo pads shoved down the tail pipes for the test ;)

I'm guessing you have to pay some import duty on things though?
Not within the European Community.

If you want an original exhaust to original specifications that will fit first time try
