Car Details:68 pontiac firebird coupe project car,my aim is a street friendly, lightly modified pro.touring style.
Lowered ,mild body mods,400 cu in SBC engine, Muncie 4speed, 10 bolt posi axle, disc front drum rear.
68 firebird convertible ( long term project) Stock resto/mod style ,400 pontiac th350
I have a standard '67/'68 hood ( not 400 with twin scoops )
Will get it out and take a couple of pix for you and give a description, from memory it is solid with no serious rust or any damage.
You are a long way from me unfortunately ...but these 1st gen Pontiac hoods are thin on the ground .

Oop's that caught me sleeping

Top Cat! if I'd said bonnet some one would have tried to sell me a hat :)

Firebird 68 ok I'm interested so a Pic and a price would be good thanks :)

My Hood/ Bonnet is very solid but some one has welded 400 scoop's on it and fillered around them so it's very heavy and I don't like filler so I just thought I would see whats out there before it's painted.

Has any one every bought a new one they look a bit thin, I think the hinges are so powerfull they mite bend it??
