If you're gonna put an order in with someone like Summit, you may as well try and get all the bits you need in one go and save on shipping...

I was looking at frame connectors for the 3rd gen TA - less than $200 for the pair but shipping was +$200, some options were as much as $400. :wtf:

How to post pics: When writing a message, scroll down and use the "attach file" option. Where possible, a photo sharing service can be used such as Flickr, Imgur etc. The image location (usually ending in .jpg) can be copy and pasted between the ][ brackets that appear when you click the 'Img' button (you can find this button at the top of the message box).

How to post youtube vids: Click on the 'youtubeHD' button at the top of the message box and in the middle of the ][ brackets that just appeared, copy and paste everything from the youtube web address that appears after the = sign i.e if this is the url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2cNqaPSHv0 just copy "K2cNqaPSHv0").

I found a place to supply me with a third gen dash pad, just over $100, shipping $600.
It´s all to do with the size of the box.

Airfreight is a better deal but not all sellers use it, just UPS, who I reckon are taking the pee now with their prices.

My Brodix heads came by regular post office, very heavy but not such a big box.

Blimey $600 is a bit excessive! I hope there's some sort of solution for shipping as it's just plain ridiculous on some things, such as your dash pad example. I was gonna get a passenger doorskin on the 2nd gen, only £45! but the shipping was +150 on it  You're very right in that they take the pee with the prices!
