Hmm, this has me thinking. The 3rd gen TA i recently acquired
has its MOT next week. It has front amber lenses, which light up when you turn the running lights on, as do the side amber indicators lights and the rear red marker lights. The front marker and side marker, also double as indicators.
I was looking to change the front marker lenses to clear ones, then use a switchback LED bulb (that lights up either white or orange, depending which circuit is on, so that you can have white marker for running lights, then amber flashing for indicators - i have this setup on the front and rear of the Camaro - front has clear lense and white running light that turns amber when indicating, and white rear reverse lights that turn amber when indicating, in one clear housing) but i couldn't find clear lenses for the front of the TA. It's been through quite a few MOT's in the UK, i think it was imported in '99. It has pop up headllights, so not sure how i could retro fit white running lights, if needed.
