Sorry Gents, another question ;

Are 4th Gen wipers specific ? All the usual Bosch, Halfrauds & similar don't fit the wipers arms, but they did fit my Caprice ?
If they are, wheres the cheapest place to get them ?

Thanks z28dunc, Ive used usautomotive before but wasnt sure if I was missing something with 'normal' wipers.

After a chat with USAuto's, they are specific to 4th gens & a new set is now on its way to me. Ordered the complete thing, as wasnt sure how old the ones I have are.
Another job ticked off the list.

I know you have a set now but ive just had these delivered today and put them on and they clear the screen just like they should :thumbup:
How long they keep clearing the screen 100% for only time will tell

I had a horrible feeling somebody would have found some that worked. Given I only do about 3,000 miles a year these woulda been fine at a fraction of the price or genie parts.
I bought a few 'universal' sets that didn't fit, & assumed a lot of the ebay cheapies would be the same. DOH !

Just another thought, could arm be different on 93 - 96 vs 97 - 02 cars ?

Just fitted some on mine, the bendy aero ones.

The last set lasted a couple of years and were still ok.

Just put Camaro wipers in Ebay and up it came, £7.99 i think.

I did spot some in Aldi for 4.99 and thought they would work but wasnt 100% on the length at the time.

IM pretty sure the fitment is a standard loop on the wiper arm.
