Looking good David! I'm not personally keen on the all black look as it looks odd on real cars. Would be interested to see what the finished results look like though!

Never seen Goodyear White letter tyres like that. Where did you get them from?

ImageThe tyres came from good old E-Bay. 6 months old, £35.00 each. They came off of a Suzuki Vitara, hence why they are a tadge big.
First tyre on, and newly painted caliper.

Does look great... best 3rd gen colour too in my opinion... Black wheels (with slightly too big) tyres finishes off nicely..

What size is that rubber, ? are they so big they'll catch on the body or inner arches, or mess up speedo readings ?

The tyres are 225x70x15, they came off a Suzuki Vitara. I really wanted some Goodyears with nice letters on them, im going back to my old school days with my Cortinas and Capris, and these came up on an E-Bay search, 6 months old, £35.00 each. As for the wheel arch on the front, on hard lock both ways i can just get my fingers in the gap.
As for the speedo, well who cares.
