B/M transmission, battery relocated to the rear, GoodMark 4" cowl steel hood.

I have 225 on the front and 245 on the rear, caused some head scratching at the MOT here in Spain.
Corvettes have different sizes and so do those Smart cars.

As far as I'm aware these are stock and were put on for the Japanese market where the solid non-fold away aero mirrors would've been outlawed. Its another thing on my list to replace ;)
At VolksWagen in the eighties we had to asses wing/door mirrors for the Japanese market,
they had some weird things bolted to the sides of their cars. :lolno:
Some wing mirrors mounted far forward were a foot tall.

I'll have a look into what rubber I can get for them. Still got a feeling that I'm going to have to put some lower springs in it to make them look right...

Removed these last night as I got bored of continually fighting with them. Will keep an eye out for some suitable rubber and re-shoe them at some point.

While off the car though I took down the DOT codes.

Fronts Hankook Ventus (3500) 35th week of 2000... 14 year old tyres, still look in good shape though, no sidewall cracking or that.

Rears Avon Turbospeed (4507) 45th week of 2007, sides perished, with tread block break up on the edges. Still respectable for a 6-7yr old tyre I guess.

I have mine lowered with Hotchkiss springs, but having removed so much excess weight off the front it´s raised up again.
