i think i may call it that after the white primer paint job i gave it

this easter i had three weeks free to work on th car to get it mot'ed and start to sort out the shit paint it had

before critism you have to understand the extremely tight budget i was on

so first mot it failed on -

headlight adjustment
handbrake
seatbelt fluff (which was rediculus)
wipers
subframe bent
rot
rot
rot

the car was rotted both sills from front wheel arch to the middle
the right side was top and bottom of the sill
both rear wheel arches
the drivers floor
and two holes in both rear quarters

heres the subframe, looks like someone has tryed to jack it up by it
Image

so after a quick lesson on how to weld, i done it all 9 holes
the rest of the stuff was minor
so at 10-days free retest time it is was done!

now for the paint
some p### had painted the car from half way up and covered it by using some gash graphics
when i bought the car the paint didnt look to bad, but after a few days it came out in mumps
i was like little spots and if you popped them a beed of oil came out

here is pic of te shit graphics

Image

here is what it looked like after abit of sanding

Image

Image

after more sanding we painted it, in white primer

Image
i have a better pic ill post up later
i still have the lips to do

but now i dont know wheher to put the stripes back on
heres a pic with and without

Definitely get the fan fixed. Heat is an engine killer!!! I wish I had your welding skills. My rust is all lurking waiting to be properly treated. For now I'm concentrating on what I can do myself.....I'm dreading when I 'll have to tear it apart to fix the rot!!!!
