I have finally made the decision to sell my Camaro - I have my eye on another vehicle.

She is a 2000 model with the 3.8 V6 Engine with approximately 64,000 km's (40k miles) on the clock.

She is in very good condition with only a few marks to the paintwork. Indepth service towards the end of last year as I had a misfire on her - turned out to be one of the coil packs.

Tax until August 09, MOT until December 09

Am looking for around £4400.

I do have more pictures so please contact me if you are interested.

She is also now on eBay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0348682508

Many thanks

Clare

I have now bought me an Astro.

Had to drive to Sheffield late on Wednesday night to pick her up and considering all the floods up that way took us 7 hours from door to door.

Here are some piccies but I haven't done anything to her yet....

I can't see the photos at work, is it a black one ?

If you haven't already joined, I'm sure Steven won't mind me putting up this link to the Astro Safari owners Club.

http://www.astrosafari.co.uk/forums/

It's a very friendly place and about the only place for UK owners. Excellent buying advice given on there so don't buy one before introducing yourself on there and getting some opinions. And avoid Astroland like the plague.

Was this from Spurr Classics, or American cars Uk or whatever they're called? what year/miles/condition/price etc?

I picked her up "off" eBay ;)

She's a '94 with 60,400 miles. She's in very good condition (apart from the exhaust which is being replaced on Saturday at Pipecraft in Basildon :D )

Since I picked her up last Wednesday night, my husband has ripped out the Jap spec TV and VCR player and replaced with a 14" Flat screen monitor (powered by a 300w inverter) which will connect to our laptops to watch DVD's etc. He added a reversing light as she was missing one and as he bought me a reversing camera for my birthday (albeit one month early) fitted that too. Added a 10 CD multichanger to the aftermarket Jap spec stereo which is in place and so far I am really really happy with her.

As said condition is very good with a few very small dings and bumper scratches which I expected. Also both wing mirrors are badly scratched and passenger mirror is actually cracked. These are being replaced by aftermarket mirrors (they are winging their way over the pond as we speak) - again another early birthday present :) and will help personalise her.

I paid £3500 plus tax as she was declared sorn. So far nothing has surfaced to suggest we overpaid but time will tell but it's far better than the previous one we purchased - enough said!

I will post more pictures when I get round to taking some more and if people are interested ;)

I will still browse this forum as my husbands 97 T/A isn't going anywhere until funds allow for a Corvette :o
