What?!? You telling me that a 600hp wheelbarrow can't win a race? Even with massive brakes, huge tyres and loads of bolt-on suspension parts? Aww now that's just not fair, sending little engine Furrin' cars to get beat up by loud, hairy chested US muscle, is it?
Cheers, Martin

Hi Stu, our club doesn't have a date at Castle Combe this year so looks like I won't be there racing. However, if it's near you we could meet up there if Bernie's lot are racing, they are well worth a trip to spectate.

True, driver error ultimately caused the fails but if the Muscle cars were as good as they should have been with all the mods, they would not have had to try so hard, with the result that they overcook it. Ask me how I know this............. :tired:
Cheers, Martin

I don't think that Joe thought about how his line would come across 'I would love to destroy those guys in a station wagon'. Sounds like you should keep that thought to yourself Joe!

I was expecting drag racing but it was good to see these on a track at least. I was expecting better performance from the yank tanks, especially on the long straight. As Mart says, there maybe a difference between published performance and the actual setup of them.

How to post pics: When writing a message, scroll down and use the "attach file" option. Where possible, a photo sharing service can be used such as Flickr, Imgur etc. The image location (usually ending in .jpg) can be copy and pasted between the ][ brackets that appear when you click the 'Img' button (you can find this button at the top of the message box).

How to post youtube vids: Click on the 'youtubeHD' button at the top of the message box and in the middle of the ][ brackets that just appeared, copy and paste everything from the youtube web address that appears after the = sign i.e if this is the url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2cNqaPSHv0 just copy "K2cNqaPSHv0").

Great fun

I don't think the Red Necks were playing to win! Just put on a show- the cars had way less specs than advertised as well................

would have loved to put Butch up against that Audi
