On the facelift 4th gens theres a few little raised (8mm) lumps on the headlights. Any idea what they are for

I think they're something to do with either the original moulding, or possibly relevant to adjustment and alignment at the factory..
Lots of cars have them.

They are whats left in the casting of the part from the factory. If you want you can cut them off and sand them down then polish the lot.

Ah that explains it then. I thought they might be for some sort of headlight cover

They are also there to catch yer knuckles on and to tear up yer sponges
Why only us stuff tho is it pure lazyness
Cant recall any european stuff having lil tits on them , oops i said tits dam i said it again
