Some may remember I crunched a wheel on a massive pothole at the end of October, well repaired wheel is back and looking fine.
This is how it was before after a 40 mph run through a seriously deep hole on the A40.

And repaired but nicely dirtied after a 200 blast around the rainy, muddy roads of Surrey and Sussex.

If anyone is interested I used BJV Engineering, located in Herts near Hemel Hempstead. They've refurb'd a couple of sets of wheels for me before. Very good price for quality of work in my experience.

They were quite suprised it came out too.. They did say it was likely to crack whilst being heated and bent back into shape, and end up being scrapped...
Lucky all round..

From the picture I would have thought it was beyond salvation...but then I know nothing about wheel repair.
The state of some roads is a national disgrace considering the money we all pay in taxes...
