As I had to take the bent wheel off to get it repaired I had to throw something on to keep the bugger off the ground, and as I've got the winter wheels on my 530 I thought I'd put one of my 19" M6 style rims i use in the summer to good use.

Not sure if I like it to be honest. . Wrong style and too big me thinks.

That's actually not too bad. Makes it look like it should be in Need for Speed, or somewhere in Florida where they do the big modern wheels on old skool cars thing.

p.s what's the council / highways agency said about the wheels?

I've meant to put them on the car just to see for ages... I think 19" wheels for these cars are just too big.. and it really a needs a bit of dish..

In other new.. the old wheel is being repaired, very touch and go if it was gonna straighten out ok, but all has gone well and should get it back after refurb next week sometime..
Still waiting to see if TFL are gonna pay for it, I've put a claim in with their solicitors anyway.

Car Details:68 pontiac firebird coupe project car,my aim is a street friendly, lightly modified pro.touring style.
Lowered ,mild body mods,400 cu in SBC engine, Muncie 4speed, 10 bolt posi axle, disc front drum rear.
68 firebird convertible ( long term project) Stock resto/mod style ,400 pontiac th350
They look better than I imagined they would, maybe slightly too tall and not enough dish on them.
Would look even better if the spokes were painted a darker color with just the rim polished.
I tend to prefer 17 or 18 rims for a more subtle modified look.
