I think in the early 80's they changed the vin number format to 17 or so digits from 13?

That's a pretty good amount of information. It looks like if you have Full Service History etc that's getting logged in the U.S and it's able to retrieve that, pretty cool info. Sham it doesn't work on older gens, but at least it's working!
