As I'm pretty sure I spotted something about this on another 1st gen post I thought I'd mention that today I finally replaced my dimmer footswitch for hi/lo beam.. I installed a new HID relay set up a few days ago as they never worked properly with standard kit, and I was always driving around at night on lo beam, bit dodgy going fast on country roads sometimes..

Wasn't as tough as I expected, bit of a fiddle due to the roll cage being in the way to get decent access down into the footwell, and the old one popped out and new one in. Not too pricey, £20 from Old Car World about 2 miles from me..

Been working like a demon this week, and missed putting some miles on in the nice weather.
