Ah ok, my colleague visits Cornwall often (has a place down there)... i'll ask him whereabouts exactly. He was up there 2 weeks ago and was sea fishing one day, that's about all i know so far lol.

Yep plenty of sea and fish down here but neither are any good in a car so he is welcome to both

If he's into cars tell him to pop in for a chat I think that what I do most of, he will need his own tea or coffee because I don't drink either :)

Hi Paulmanta hope that part went ok

Stalk is cut down, threaded and in service as a column tilt switch, looks good and works a treat. Cheers for that.

I dug out the old wiring loom today and started to sort it out ready for remaking it. is simple but tangled !

Yeh just lay the loom out on a large board, put a nail at each junction and at the end of each tail, then while its on the board make each plug and cut all the tape of to reveal the colours and wire sizes, write that on the board.

Then its a good idea to re tape the tails and junctions on the old one and take it of to keep for a referance just in case.

Why am I telling you this, you have a pet Sparky just point him at it with lots of coffee and leave the lights on all night
