I have Gerry it something that should go over the dash pad to protect it from the sun. Unfortunately it's too late for mine as its fell to pieces

Now, a funny story re Auto Pontiac...... It's not funny really!!
I phoned them and spoke to a youngish geezer, not the usual one who owns it. I forgot his name. Well I asked and he said its different to a Camaro I replied no it isn't the dash fascia is obviously different but the cap isn't . Oh yes it is he said. No it's not I said. Yes it is he said...... I thought oh b#####ks to it!!!
I was looking at the dash cap but, it relies on just a cracked dash to stick it on to, as these use a bead of silicone type sealer to bond it.

I saw this today, not too far from you.

Now folks !!! A few of you know me...... So I'm open to honest opinion.
Contacted the geezer on eBay re my dash cap. Turns out he's a business although he hasn't identified himself as one. Anyways ..... He's quoted £250 for the cap..... Is it me or is that at least £150 rats dearer than it should be for a piece 2nd hand plastic?? Or am I a tight wad??
