Some kind soul has broke the passenger door mirror glass on my 94 Z28 so now i need a replacement. Rock Auto have them at just over a tenner but they're £45 by the time they reach here! :wtf:

I've emailed Cut Maple Salvage to see what they have but does anyone have any more ideas? I know you can get temporary ones you cut to size but i gather they're a bit crap.

Any suggestions welcome...

You could try Oldcott Motors in Stoke on Trent, they have a few cars in their scrap yard. I've been there in the past and found them to be reasonable.

Failing that I would get on your PC with phone in hand and call some dealers around the country for the best price including VAT and postage.

One thing i wondered: Are the facelift (98-02) mirrors different? There's some on ebay but apparently they wont fit early 4th gens.

depends if you have yank style ones or the UK spec (EURO) ones.

All yank style should be the same right from 93 up. Obviously the EURO spec are different.

Have you checked all the breakers on ebay? About 4 breaking in cars section.

My car was imported from the states originally and still has the American spec rear lights so in theory the mirrors should be the Yank ones.

I'll have a look around tomorrow and see what's online. ;)

Here's a pic of the door mirror before it got broke. Can anyone tell me if this is the Yank one or the Euro spec one? Thought it'd be wise to check before i buy anything! Thanks.
